Opening Ceremony
The meeting will open with welcome remarks from representatives of the key organizations supporting and contributing to the event, including FIG (International Federation of Surveyors), the FIG Foundation, CLGE (Council of European Geodetic Surveyors), and the FIG Young Surveyors Network, together with representatives of the local organizing partners and surveying community in the Republic of Moldova. Representatives of the event's main partners and sponsors will also join the opening ceremony to welcome participants and officially mark the start of the meeting.
Group Photo + Young Surveyors' Coffee Social
During the first coffee break, participants will have the opportunity to get to know one another in a relaxed and informal setting. The Young Surveyors' Coffee Social is designed to break the ice, encourage conversations, exchange experiences, and start building new connections across the European surveying community. Grab a coffee, meet fellow young surveyors, and start expanding your network!
Keynote Sessions: Bridging Today and Tomorrow: The Future of Surveying
As we stand on the brink of tomorrow, it's crucial to recognize and understand the challenges that lie ahead. This interactive session is dedicated to raising awareness about the potential impacts of tomorrow's challenges on our communities, environments, and economies. Through engaging discussions and interactive activities, participants will gain insight into the various dimensions of these challenges and explore opportunities for collective action towards sustainable solutions.
Young Surveyor Grant Awarding Ceremony
This session will put the spotlight on the FIG Foundation Grant awardees, giving them the opportunity to introduce themselves, share their experiences, achievements and professional interests with the wider Young Surveyors community. Through their stories and perspectives, participants will discover the diverse paths of young surveyors across Europe, exchange ideas and be inspired by the next generation of professionals shaping the future of our profession.

Technology in Action: The Future of Surveying
Through a series of discussions and presentations we will explore the tools and technologies available to us in the fields of surveying, geospatial sciences, and environmental management.
Surveying Across Europe: Voices from the Profession
What does it mean to be a surveyor in different parts of Europe? In this dynamic, podcast-style session, young surveyors from across Europe will take the stage to give a short snapshot of the profession in their country.
Each speaker will share how someone becomes a surveyor in their country, the main areas in which surveyors work, the technologies and tools they use, and some of the opportunities and challenges currently shaping their profession.
Through a series of short and engaging country perspectives, the session will highlight both the diversity and the common ground of surveying across Europe, creating an opportunity to learn from one another and better understand how our profession is evolving across borders.
Coffee Break
One Profession, Many Dimensions
The role of the surveyor is expanding far beyond traditional boundaries. This session will explore the diversity of today's profession, from cadastre and land management to remote sensing, BIM, digital twins, geospatial technologies and emerging applications of artificial intelligence. Through different perspectives and real-world examples, we will discover how innovation, new technologies and evolving societal needs are reshaping the work of surveyors and creating new opportunities for the next generation.

Optional: Romanian Surveying Week - ConsGeoCad
Participants are invited to join the Romanian Surveying Week - ConsGeoCad programme, including the Opening Ceremony and Welcome Speeches at Cybercor, followed by transfer to the Technical University of Moldova (Study Block No. 10, 41 Dacia) for the opening of the exhibition and a group photo session.
From Young Surveyors to Future Leaders
This session brings together a diverse selection of presentations reflecting the ideas, experiences and interests of the next generation of surveyors. Young professionals, students, academics and industry representatives will share projects, initiatives, professional experiences and perspectives from across the surveying and geospatial community.
Covering a broad range of topics, the session provides an open platform for exchanging knowledge, discovering new ideas and giving a voice to the people and initiatives contributing to the future of the profession.

What is next?
What comes after Chisinau? This session will look ahead to the next two years of activities, opportunities and major gatherings for Young Surveyors across Europe. Participants will get a first glimpse of what is coming next, including presentations of the upcoming events in Stavanger in 2027 and France in 2028, together with other initiatives and opportunities to stay involved in the Young Surveyors community.
The session will also provide an open space to exchange ideas, strengthen collaboration between national and European networks, and encourage participants to take an active role in shaping what comes next for Young Surveyors in Europe.
