It is our great pleasure to invite you to the 4th edition of Romanian Surveying Week between 10th and 13th of May, 2023, hosted by Oradea – Băile Felix, Romania. The international event is organized by Romanian Surveyors Union (UGR), in collaboration with Faculty of Constructions, Cadastre and Architecture from University of Oradea, International Federation of Surveyors (FIG), the National Agency for Cadastre and Land registration (ANCPI), the Council of European Geodetic Surveyors (CLGE) and the Romanian Academy of Technical Sciences (ASTR). The event will take place at the Hotel President, Băile Felix, Oradea.

International Symposium "Modern surveying technologies for 3rd millennium" will bring together specialists from surveying, cadastre, land management, local administration, GIS, and other related fields, both from Romania and all over the world, being the central part of the event. The symposium will give the participants the opportunity to present papers, debate and communicate in a professional and scientific manner, highlighting their own contribution, finding out smart technical solutions to protect, restore and promote modern surveying technologies and solutions in the current societal context. Special sessions dedicated to Young Surveyors will benefit from a strong support from our side.

The international conference along with roundtables and forums, annual meetings and social activities organized within the Romanian Surveying Week in Oradea – Băile Felix will offer the professional frame and environment for discussions, exchanging knowledge and experience among surveyors participating in the international event.

Sponsors and participants will present the latest technologies, solutions and projects in the technology expo.

"Romanian Surveying Week", the most important event of the geodetic professional community organized by the Romanian Surveyors Union, will take place this spring in Oradea. The fourth edition of the event will include the International Symposium "Modern surveying technologies for 3rd millennium". Topics as geodesy, photogrammetry, remote sensing, cadastre and land registry, as well as applied engineering in all mentioned field, will be of interest for professionals from both private and academic sectors. The Romanian Surveyors Union (UGR) together with the University of Oradea, the Faculty of Constructions, Cadastre and Architecture - The Department of Cadastre announces the organization of the fourth edition of the Romanian Surveying Week.
I particularly welcome the choice made by UGR to organize this event in Oradea, which leads to our recognition as an important landmark in the field of specialized education in Romania.
At the same time, the presence of the event in this part of the country assures us of your appreciation of the city of Oradea.
I wish that all the activities carried out during the event to lead to a good dissemination of information on the importance of the profession of surveyor in the current context, to the realization of interdisciplinary links between all the fields that benefit from the contribution of the surveyor or the specialist in terrestrial measurements.
